Biography

Rémy Lavie took his first paddle strokes in a kayak at the age of 10. Since then, he has continued to thrive in ocean and paddle sports.

His achievements include French and European Va’a championship titles, along with numerous participations in some of the most prestigious events such as:

• the Hawaiki Nui
• the Te Aito
• the V6 World Championships in Tahiti

His favourite race remains the Molokai to Oahu, crossing the Kaiwi Channel, which he has completed several times in OC1 and OC6, and where he earned a 3rd place in Stand Up Paddle in 2019.

A certified BEES Canoe-Kayak and associated disciplines instructor, Rémy now shares his passion and expertise every day through his company Paddle Sports.
